What We Do
IMPACT South Shore is a multi-year, comprehensive blueprint driving economic growth, job creation, & stronger communities across the South Shore of Massachusetts. It focuses on diversifying the regional economy, attracting & retaining high-demand talent, & improving quality of life for all residents.
Since 2016, we’ve advanced this work by launching a regional housing plan, partnering with municipalities, addressing critical mass transit challenges, & convening stakeholders to move development priorities forward.

Who We Are
IMPACT South Shore is guided by the South Shore Economic Development Corporation (SSEDC), a nonprofit subsidiary of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce. As the region’s leading business voice, the Chamber convenes partnerships across business, government, & nonprofit sectors to strengthen the South Shore’s economy & communities.
This work is made possible through the support of funders, local municipalities, & elected officials committed to advancing the South Shore 2030 roadmap.
At its core, the success of this initiative depends on one thing: our region’s ability to collaborate, align, & act together.
